Sequencing Individual residents with multiple claims in the system, including no-pays, will all need proper sequencing. Claim by claim review can reveal one thing out of order that can break an entire payment line.
Coding Watch for incorrect span codes, condition codes, and HIPPs codes. Each can cause payments to be held up. Understand which codes go where on each claim and then verify.
One year for timely filing to get it all correct and paid. In some cases, 1 year+ balances can be collected, but don't count on it!
